I think there are about another 3 or 4 players to my knowledge that are not on the lists atm, so you will have to work that list a little to hit the top 10 DJ :) (BTW Reply sent DJ)

"No just a previous commitment at a BIG Show the Nationals in Derby. "

The national what Charles? Wargods?

Derby is over 200 miles from Canterbury, if you check the available wargames diarys you will find that there are BIG shows every weekend. This event was moved because people last year commented it was too close to christmas. We can do nothing about other bookings around the country we did avoid those in the southern half of the country (Reading, SELWG etc), but that was all we could do. We simply reacted to what was asked

The boys and I just wanted to wish all you Antediluvian warriors a great weekend; sorry we can't be there but look forward to seeing you all next year! In the immortal words of Stu, 'let the rumbunction begin!'

All the best, Paul, Mike and Chris.

Don't drink all the Incubus, woof!

A big thank you to all to turned up on the day, and helped to make the tournement a great success by your great friendly efforts and fantastic gameplay. What a wonderful day.

We managed 12 players in the end which was still a very good turn out given all the misfortunes that seem to have beset people this year. I hope you are all well and and are blessed by some good times ahead.

On a personal note I would especially like to give Kevin a big thanks for the fantastic slaughter fest we had for the last game of the day, bodys strewn every where, and a corking end to the day. Of course, now i have got to repaint that damned hero with the beloved skin as a trophy lol.

I am sure more details will follow, rankings, photos and such,

Thanks again, John F.

I would also like to thank the chaps at Canterbury for another excellent tournament and to thank my opponents for three very enjoyable games, especially John F. (Ducat) for the the last battle between his Anubi and my Basti. This included an epic struggle between 2 Anubi heroes and a Beloved, which was resolved with the final die roll of the game, when the surviving hero, down to his last wound, was finally victorious. Also thanks to the 'Widows and Orphans' for providing the tea, coffee etc.

It was good to see everybody again and I look forward to seeing you all again, either at Salute or at Canterbury next year.

Cheers,

Kevin
