Well its almost summer (not a fan of summer unless at beach or pool), so I thought it would be a perfect time to work on my army list and all things cold. I am working on a 1000 point list. Just wanted some people to look it over and get their thoughts and ideas. Will add to the list later but here is my 1000 point list.
Wendigo Warband # Unit or Character Cost Equipment Total 1 Ice Witch 125 Frostbite Blade + 15 / Scepter of Ice +10 / Rune of Protection +5 / Javelin +2 157 1 Shaman 60 60 5 Master of the Hunt 80 4 Howlers +35 each (+140 total) 220 6 Warriors 22 each Javelin +2 / Two Hand Weapons +2 / (Musician +10 / Standard Bearer +10)/ rune of protection +5 206 8 Hunters 20 each Hand Weapon +1 / Javelin +2 184 8 Hunters 20 each Hand Weapon +1 / Javelin +2 184 1 Chieftan 120 Bone Armor + 4 / Hand Weapon +1 / Frostbite Blade +15 / Javelin +2 / Rune of Swiftness +4 146 30 models * ( Note - Ice Witch is with the warriors ) * 1000 Any Ideas on this? Now that I see the list copying and pasting from excel does not look that good. the list should be as follows:
ice witch with frostbite blade, scepter of ice, rune of protection and javelins - 157 pts. shaman - 60 pts. master of the hunt with 4 howlers - 220 pts. 6 warriors with two hand weapons, javelins, and runes of protection (along with musician and standard bearer) - 220 pts. 8 hunters with hand weapon and javelin - 184 pts. 8 hunters with hand weapons and javelin - 184 pts. chieftan with Bone Armor / Hand Weapon / Frostbite Blade / Javelin / Rune of Swiftness - 146 pts. total - 1000 pts. (note the ice witch is with the warriors) 30 models total this looks better Paul

Looks solid. However, I believe you can only give one set of amulets of each type with 1 shaman. either your warriors or your ice witch need to switch theirs to the Runes of Fury. I'd suggest the warriors, for obvious reasons.
Not knowing what models you have available, but after a few games you might consider making the units of 8 smaller, drop a howler or 2 (not sure of points), and take an ice warrior. The added Discipline could be very helpful for one of those units, I've found.

If the Ice Witch is attached to the warriors can they all have the same amulet?

In all the years I've played, I've never seen anyone do that, so I didn't think it was allowed. Now I need to go look...

Harbingers can be attached to units - it is common practice in our local meta to do this (unless harbinger is on a chariot).
Personally I don't put my Ice Witch in a unit, because I try to avoid combat with her, however it is a reasonable approach to protect her from missile fire (also I'm pretty sure she couldn't join units in the playtest book)

All Harbingers, Ice Witches and Demi-Gods have always been able to join units. It really does limit the Harbingers mobility those.

It does limit mobility, however it does significantly increase survivability against missile fire {:-)}
There are risks and benefits for both putting them in a unit and running them around separately. Typically I don't go hunting provocation, so running my harbinger around in a unit makes sense and the reduced mobility doesn't have that much of an adverse impact. Additionally, being able to give armour to Aegyptian units means that your unit is more survivable. The Ice Witch, on the other hand, I find best not attached to units, as the lack of armour on the Wendigo does make it a bit more of a risk, and with the Blizzard the risk from shooting is significantly reduced.
