Besides the Wendigo, what are the other factions?

Picts or Skraelings?

People of the Pines?

Wolf Brothers?

That is yet to be revealed. It has not even been mentioned that I have seen as to whether Croc will return to Hyperborea next or move onto Midgard or Atlantis after the current Olympus phase winds down. I am hoping for Midgard personally. While I am curious as to what the other factions of Hyperborea would look like and about Atlantis in general I really want to see Croc styled Vikings. But hey, that is just me.

Although this may have changed, the original release scheduale intended from what i can remmember was wargods of aegyptus - olympus- hyperborea - vikings - atlantis (celtic type stuff i think was either part of hyperborea or it's own thing been a long time now haha but if it's own thing would of been between hyperborea and vikings)

hyperborea got the wendigo rules because one sculpter liked the idea and sculpted a whole batch of them and so rules where brought out for them as miniatures where already good to go.

I have a few mates itching for Midgard to be released, they use viking armies for other gamies so are well up for getting stuck in to this.

I'd personally like to see a "WarGods of the Middle Kingdom" based upon ancient Chinese history and Chinese mythology.

Yeah one of my mates has said he might be intrigued by the Wargods of Midgard setting.

As for other Hyperborea factions, I imagine it would be influence by Picts and Celts and what not, though at the same time if you look at Howards Hyperborea, it did encompass quite a lot of different cultural ideas.

The tentative plan was to proceed to Valhalla after Olympus. I'd personally love to dive into further Hyperborea factions, but I suspect there is much more support for vikings. Hyperborea (as you can probably gather from the text) is a bit of a hybrid culture, since it is closed off and separate from the rest of the ancient world, we don't have to follow any ancient mythology closely. I don't want to give too much away, but is definitely intended to have a Robert E. Howard flavor, with more overt fantasy elements than the rest of the WarGods world.

When the time comes to do them, Valhalla will do well, I think. Vikings are a big hit. My wife talks about the possibilities of such a project; she wants a Freya chariot pulled by cats. Go figure...as if her Basti weren't enough!

Vikings will sell well, and there is a definite space for a good mid sized game for people to use their armies in... SAGA is good but limited and shieldwall or warhammer ancients aren't the best.

Your figures are good for both wargods and historical games, so a range of affordable metal viking troops and some decent characters will find homes not just in the fantasy gaming community :-D

Perhaps finish the Wendigo faction first before moving on? I don't have my faction book in front of me but there are still the Frost Maidens and didn't somebody mention a sled? That way they'd at least be a complete faction to pit against the Vikings or whomever.

I would love to see Crocodile do a range of mythic Celts. Greeks, Egyptians, Vikings, you can find those everywhere, but try looking for decent mythic Celts and there just isn't really much out there.

The fluff in the Wendigo Guide and Preview List have the Wendigo on the outside of the island and a huge jungle in the inside of the island.

So Dinosaur-men army?
