If you're attending, please let me know, so I can plan ahead.

So far, we have Oceanborn (helping out), Fenrihr, Lord Erik and Stormcricket from Canberra and Akenatum. (Offler had to drop out)

I'll have to start rattling what cages I can, but if anyone wants to play, please let me know.

Has there been any news as to whether there will be more than the four of us?

It seems an awful long way for three of us to travel... so that we can can pretty much play against the very people we play against back at home!

We have news : We're up to 6 players! Woo Hoo! Adam : Heru or Typhon? Erik : ToTanem? Nick: extreeemely fast Basti Murry : ???? Darcy Bedlington : Olympians Darryl Adams : Olympians (Handbrakius of Prius rides again?)

It would be useful to have names of your harbingers / demigods in advance for some of the game props.

Can anyone who hasn't got their entries in to the MOAB people please do so, and send your army lists to either the .mail address or to bcadwgan at optusnet dot com dot au

I also have several potential 'loaner' armies if there is anyone interested in playing but doesn't have figures.

Two and a half weeks to go!

Latest update from the MOAB organisers : Entries are : Nick Strusz Erik Connell adam sesperez Darryl Adams Darcy Bedlington

Stormcricket, if you're still able to come, please put your entry in. :)

The game format is going to be similar to Leviathan, with the theme of two competing communities under threat from the Undead.

Two teams : Nick, Erik, Murry vs Adam, Darryl & Darcy, assuming this is agreeable to everyone. The intent is that the Canberra team (Nick/Erik/Murry) get to play people they don't normally play.

Each round there will be one major quest scenario : both teams nominate a member for the quest. You can only take a second quest once everyone on your team has already done one quest. The other scenarios will be selected as follows : One side nominates a player and scenario and the other side nominates a player to oppose them. Then the other team nominates a player and scenario and the first nominates a player to oppose them (not that there will be much choice at that point).

There will also be some rounds where Mark and I will run Eater forces assuming we have table space, and hopefully one 'big bash' for the Grand Finale.

If possible, can people bring some tomb/necropolis scenary, and any extra undead you might have hanging around. ;)

Barry -

As you know, I'll be in the Land of the Long White Shroud over that weekend (the holiday Monday - my birthday - will be spent on Milford Sound), but I can leave my Eaters with a mate from the club for generic use (if that will help).

Let me know if we're doing that, & when you've done with them on the weekend they can be left with a tournament organiser & I will pick them up the next time I'm at the club.

Have fun all - our holiday will be a blast, but I'll still miss being at the tournament.

Offler, if you have time, can you put together an army list for your force, 1500 pts with a Ka 2 harbinger?

OK, the latest update : Currently we have been allocated 4 tables in line, in front of the stage in the main hall.

One question (assuming people are available to answer this close) : I'm still working on the nitty gritty of the scenarios and the 'story' / theme is not necessarily meshing with what people may be comfortable with.

Are people comfortable or uncomfortable with with, in some scenarios, playing an Eater army instead of their own army? The results would still count towards your personal score, but you'd potentially be playing with an unfamiliar army with unfamiliar mechanics. Mark and I will probably be playing EoD in some scenarios too / instead.

Heh. I might even manage a whole alternate 'campaign' if people don't want to mix and match armies.

I've received army lists from two of you. Thanks Nick and Erik. The rest of you need to get moving.

Also, names!

Anyway, see you all Saturday.

OK, I've come up with a suitably satisfying Plan B so people don't have to 'mix and match' armies and put on the skull shaped EoD hat if they don't want to.

Now the running around frantically to make sure everything's working... and lists, lots of lists...

Hah, nothing like the last minute to get things sorted.

List is emailed and now I need to get some work cleared so that Wednesday when i get back to work I am not buried under a mountain of updates.
