#1 is it required that you have a Harbinger? Based on my perusal of the book; neither Osiris nor Isis have a Harbinger. How do I go about playing/creating a Dispossessed force? Is such a force desirable or winnable?

#2 The flavor text of the Dispossessed mentions "Mounted on lean horses, they trek across the desert, all their worldly belongings bundled behind their saddles." Is there any intention of adding Dispossessed cavalry forces?

1: The dispossessed use Asar harbingers of either Isis or Osiris. The stat lines are identical to the Asar harbingers following other gods.

2 : I can't comment on future plans, but I think it unlikely that we'll be seeing Aegyptian cavalry. It's not part of the 'theme' for aegyptus, where chariots dominate.

In the fluff text there is mention of amazon cavalry so we may see light cav in Olympus.

As mentioned Amazonian Cavalry is in the fluff.

Also, posted back on the old forum was a rendition of a Centaur, plus the Leader of this wondeful game not only confirmed there would be Centaurs, but that there would be UNITS of Centaurs! Very cool!!!

It's been mentioned somewhere that Ægyptus wont have cavalry however it should be appearing in Olympus as light cav.

Yeah I very much doubt that cavalry will appear in the game, as stated it's not really the theme of it, it's a time of chariots and only then few of them really.

And the Dispossessed do have Harbingers of Osiris and Isis, it's just that no more Harbingers of Osiris can be created due to Osiris being dead. I can't remember whether Isis still makes Harbingers since she's away looking for his body.

Edit: And I just noticed the date on this topic, I really haven't been here for a while.

To my opinion. Horsemen must be a elite unit (like Warhawks or Necropolis Guards) for Osiris/Isis warband

I wouldn't mind seeing light cav as I know they would be appropriate for the time line Wargods is set in but I wouldn't want them to unbalance the game. I do think that Dispossessed would be the likeliest place to find them.

Yes, some poorly-mounted ("donkey seat") horse archers might be appropriate, since the New Kingdom Egyptians are thought to have had small numbers of mounted scouts. In game terms, they should probably be unwilling to close into melee.

If they did close into melee they wouldn't have had lances. A light spear maybe, but not anything other than a light spear or hand weapon.

Actually, if you want to use the New Kingdom Egyptian example, even spears would be too much.
