New to the game, my friends dragged me along. Really interested in playing the Olympians, but can't seem to find rules on them anywhere. Only the "playtest" update. Where can I find any hint of rules on these guys because it seems waiting for Croc Tales 7 may never happen

MagenDark, where are you located.
We here in San Diego have an extra playtest book we would let you use.

I know we have some Jersey Boys on here. Pipe up fellas.
By the way, I've seen the play ...AMAZING! It actually started here in San Diego at the La Jolla Playhouse!

The playtest manual is the only official doc at the mo but with little bits in the croc tails and hopefully when Croc tails 7 arrives it'll give you a few extra bits. There still playable with the other systems and just get building and have fun with them and you'll get there for when Olympus comes out...

Would love to play them. I love the look of the models so much. Was going to go Anubis at first but a friend of mine already has them so went to Spartans. Where can I get the playtest doc though, any rules are better then none.

MagenDark,
Wargods of Olympus is a great line to play... unique and outstanding looking miniatures. Much more defensive and static than most other Wargods forces and forces you to play strategically and really play plan your moves several turns ahead of your opponent. This is especially true against warbands that have fast flanking forces or dependable spell casters and/or missile units. However, this type of play helps make you a very accomplished player and helps keep you focused on the game objectives. I started with Spartans and have since also played Mycenaeans in order to add some of the more unique units that accompany the force (Titan Hunters). Minotaurs also tend to scare the crap out of those who are unfamiliar with them. Good luck with the search... we're all also looking forward to the new rules that are rumored to be in the next Croc Tales 7! Feel free to ask anyone for advice or suggestions on game play or warband composition. Its a very friendly and cooperative group here. Respectfully, KEVIN

I have the starter box for the spartans coming in to my FLGS. Would love tips or anything but with no rules I won't even be able to use what I have coming in. Would love to see a force comp chart or anything at all really.

for now, until some rules appear, I would just use asar rules from the main rule book for your guys. This would at least teach you the nuances of the movement/fighting system.
If you are playing spartans, you could otherwise cost your army up as (counts as)heru, it would work out pretty similar for stats and costs that way I think.

Yeah I have the main rulebook no problem there were a couple sitting on the shelf of my FLGS. I had heard about the Heru swap as well. Was going to do that as a last resort. Grateful for all the help I've gotten so far :D
