I found this very cool floating tower terrain piece on a blog:
http://paulsbods.blogspot.com/2011/08/fantasy-island.html  I think I'd like to do an Aegyptian version, but I'm stumped! A floating pyramid just seems so... cheezy... Can anyone here suggest something else? Maybe using a pyramid as the base that the floating island is tethered to? What do you folks think the Olympian version would be? -Alex in Alaska

Olympian version I would throow up a small parthenon An aegyptus version I would have to say go with a mastaba or too...

That is excellent!
And what's cheezy about a floating pyramid? that would be so cool! Especially if it was a slightly damaged pyramid with bits crumbling off it...
