WarGods – Shadows Over Canah
Canah is an ancient land. A land of long forgotten magic and slumbering elemental powers. A land now resettled. Biremes ply the costal waters between Olymian colonies These small, but growing towns cluster around their gleaming marble temples, praying that the Gods recognise their worth over that of their neighbours. Further inland, carvans cross dry, dusty land to reach Ægyptian villages. Farmers work fields blessed by Ptah-inspired irrigations systems, while scribes oversee the raising of monuments. The Childeren of the Gods pray they are protected and blessed above all others. It is even whispered that in the high cold places, shaggy beasts hunt. Their quarry, dragged before giant stones, to be sacrified to a nameless, primative Power.
During the day, the sun blesses all the lands of Canah. During the day, it’s new-found settlers prospers. But what if Hellios’ chariot does not blaze across the sky? What if Ra’s sun-barge dues not sail the heeavans? What if darkness falls?
Overview This is a 2 day, 6 game, WarGods of Ægyptus tournament on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January 2019 (Day 1 and Day 2 of CanCon 2019). With the return to Canah all Warbands are welcom – Ægyptian, Olympian and Wendigo. Tables will be themed around costal areas inhabitted by the Olympians, or interior lands inabited by the Ægyptians.
Awards and Prizes Certificates will be awarded for 1st and 2nd overall, best sports and best painted. In order to minimise cost to players, there will not be any CanCon Dragon Trophies, or formal prizes.
Warband Composition The following Warband compositions restrictions will apply.

I'm waiting to hear back from everyone attending. I don't want to allow the use of the Olympus rules, unless everyone is comfortable with it. While most players attending will have the rules, there are some that I don't know. Waiting to hear back from everyone before making a decision.

After consulting all players, we will be allowing use of the WarGods of Olympus Kickstarter Backers Preview rules. The Pre-Registration Players Pack has been amended to reflect what rules documents can be used, and how to handle things that are missing (Honor Guard and chariot drivers).
If you are running an Olympian Warband, make sure you check EVERYTHING as there are lots of changes from the previous trial rules. A few things I've noticed include
If there are any questions, let me know.
