I have not signed up yet as GW put my account into deficit by $200. If I sign up there would be an odd number of player would it help if I did not sign out and assisted with running the event? otherwise I would like to take the first bye.

I'm pretty sure that Nick (who is running the event) was planning to play the bye army in the event of an odd number of players.

as we have 8 slots left i assume we are cool for going ahead. the only issue will be if bolt action continue to eat tables at - they upped again to 80 players
its rather interesting to watch the tournament organiser say that it no more then cave to external pressure

Yep, we're right until CGS says that the venue is completely full.
I'm not sure where we are up to on that front, but I suspect that if we have an odd number of players registered at the cut-off point then we'd be able to add an extra one... Last year I believe it was between christmas and new years that it filled up.

Based on the sign up form we have 8 spaces left, so that means 8 players registered.
3 days ago the entire event had 20 tables left, so it looks like ticketing will close pretty soon...

One day to go and I want to say 'Thank You' to Nick for running WarGods at Cancon this year. I have drawn one game and lost the rest, lol. On to tomorrow, will I win one game???? Sebeki Army is so predictable, run and charge. Repeat.
Thank You to the WarGods Community here, its been great fun and thank you for reminding me how relaxing WarGods is a Cancon.
