I've heard from a reliable source that yes, it is going ahead, and more information will be posted this weekend.

HI all,

I can confirm that Wargods at Cancon 2018 is going ahead. The format will be six games, played across two days (Sat 27 Jan 18 and Sun 28 Jan 18).

We will be playing with 1750pt warbands, up to Ka 2 Harbingers (Demigods, Ice witches and Overlords). Complete details and all the fine print will be available on the Cancon website… and, of course, in our player pack when you register.

While registrations are not available just yet, I do encourage all who are interested to register early… and by early I mean don’t leave it until January!

As was pointed out earlier in this thread, space is at a premium as Cancon continues to grow even bigger. Table numbers are capped and are allocated based on actual registrations… and the bigger game systems will swallow up the available tables quickly. So register early and register often

I have set a very low minimum numbers, so that we can go ahead come what may (even if there’s just two of us!) However, the tournament will only be run as a scored tournament if I have at least 8 players. Any less and we will still play – but as a friendly campaign and chance to raise Wargod’s profile at Cancon.

Well I’m hoping I can attend ... I have started work On an Olympian Warband - the Drowned Dead.

Registration apparently opens after MOAB - so sometime next week depending on when CGS hit the GO LIVE button.
