I was going through the Olympian playtest update and Croc Tales 6 and I just have a few quick questions regarding points costs:

1) In Croc Tales 6, the cost for a normal Satyr is 15pts, but above in the equipment section it says that Satyrs may take bows, light armour, hand weapons etc... So my question is the points cost for the Satyr (15pts) just the base cost of the Satyr, or is it that the bow, light armour, hand weapons etc included in the points cost?

2) On the first page of the Olympian playtest update it says the cost of a Spartan hoplite is now 16pts, so if I wanted to equip a hoplite with medium armour, shield and spear the cost of the hoplite would be 27pts, however the Peltast is only 15pts when equipped, almost half the points cost of a hoplite! Now going back on topic , my question is the same as above, is the cost listed there for the hoplite the base cost, or the cost where the equipment is included?

Short version:

1: Listed cost is for a Satyr with no equipment. You pay the normal price for any equipment desired off the list given in the Satyr entry.

2: The Peltast's cost does not include their equipment. Since there are no choices in what equipment a Peltast may take, the total is pre-calculated, but not included in the cost of the model.

Ravenwing1, I believe the rules you want will be published in the next croc tales , which is now due to be out by the end of this october, so any time in the next few days............

"All Peltasts come equipped with Light Armor, Normal Shield, Hand Weapon, and Javelins (total: 8 pts). They may not be equipped with additional weapons or armor".

"come" is not appropriate word to my opinion.

Note > Light Armor (2 pts) + Normal Shield (3 pts) + Hand Weapon (+1 pt) + Javelins (+4 pts) = 10 pts NOT 8 pts.

According to page 25 of the rulebook javelins cost 2 points, not 4.

So light armour (2 points) + normal shield (3 points) + hand weapon (1 point) + javelins (2 points) does equal 8 points.
