Is the race of a priest restricted the same way as any other specialist or can they be asar without having an asar unit in the warband? I ask this because most races have asar priests and not children models. There is an asar priest for the anubi, heru, sebeki, typhon, and to-tanem. Only the Khemru, basti, and tehtru have priests of their race. To use the priest of Set mini as is do I have to have an asar unit in my warband? It seems to argue for buying an asar unit but what if I don't want an asar unit. My plan is to have a Typhon warband with nekharu allies and I want a priest to get the amulets of set for my typhon swordsmen but don't really have the points for the 2 typhon unitsand the nekharu archers i want and have to include and asar unit.

Thanks, William

The rules don't restrict the race of Priests, they can be Asar or the race of the Harbinger's god, whichever the player prefers.
