For those attending CanCon, we are in C Pavilion. If you come in through the front doors of C, turn right and follow the main walkway towards the Budawang Pavilion. Our four tables are in a row at the corner of the main walkway and a cross walkway. Look out for the white circular greek temple on the table.

Here are the results:
Champion of Zeus, 1st overall - Mark Favoured of Zeus, 2nd overall - Shane Champion of Dionysus, best sport, - Murray Champion of Aphrodite, best painted - Jacqui Favoured of Athena, highest score junior – Jenna The overall scores were based on 20% sports, 15% painting, 15% participation in Provocation, and 50% battle score (a combination of achieving objectives and casualties taken). Some other interesting stats from the games

And what happens next year you ask?
I intend to run another two day tournament for CanCon 2017, with the working title WarGods of Olympus - Curse of the Snake People.

In terms of the warbands against prizes, they were: Champion of Zeus - Wendigo Favoured of Zeus - Titans Champion of Dionysus - Trojans Champion of Aphrodite - Amazons Favoured of Athena, highest score junior – Spartans
As the games are very objective based, the best tactic was to attempt to hold off the other warband whilst going for the objective....or failing that let the other player do all the work and pinch the objective at the end... Using Wendigo I found that the best general approach against the Olympian forces was to generally avoid engagement unless I could engage on terms that were favourable to me...usually trying to get units or independent characters into the flanks or rear of opposition units and avoiding the front. Not really any different to how I use the Wendigo against any other warband though!

It really was, I came a mighty 5th of 8 (7 when you skip the bye player) overall.
Got 5th on battle, 6th for painting, tied 5th on sports before the tiebreaker placed me 6th. Got horribly smashed most of the weekend and had a blast playing, sorry to my opponents who had to deal with my frustrations at my army. Need to not have such long breaks from the game. I will be trying to organise a 2 day tournament with the okay of my local hobby store to be in April so we can have more events to catch up at. Probably looking at a 5-6 game event with a $10 entry fee to go to the shop for allowing us to host the event need to see if I can get the approval for it and then I'll get more detAils up.

Thanks Erik for running the comp, and Jenna for being a remarkably tough bye player. hope to see you next year too. :) Congratulations to Mark for a well deserved win, thanks to Murry for his gentlemanly conduct and to Shane for playing so well and to my other opponents for putting up with my lapses.
Adam, yes, at the very least practice games and a tournament (Hall of Heros Penrith?) sound like a great idea. I don't know if it's any use but I've been working on frostgrave ruins which could be useful for Atlantean or Hyperborean ruins for a themed comp. I'd suggest a one day comp though, I usually wind up spending one day of the weekend on laundry and general housekeeping. Looking forward to next year.
