After receiving these lovely Olympus ladies I started think about the colour sheme and it took me some time to find the right one. Now ater a few tests I am pretty happy with the one you can see below and hopefully I'll manage to do the whole army in the next months ;-)

So here is the first unit, the Peltasts, please enjoy and feel free to comment.

Very nice looking.

I particularly enjoy how even the scale mail has a greenish tint to it, so it makes the miniatures harmonize more.

Very nice work sir! Great colour scheme and detail work on the faces. I have a question, what colours, etc did you do on your bases? I love the sandy feel you got. Please let me know! Cheers, Gareth : )

Thanks Gareth,

for the bases I use:

1st base with Modell Color 120 buff -- 2nd wash with Army Painter Strong Tone thinned with 50% Water -- 3rd dry brush with Model Color buff -- 4th highlight with a Model Color 005 ivory dry brush --

I use the same way to paint my gaming terrain.
