Croc Games has been busy for the last month sending out the remaining Corinth miniatures to our Kickstarter backers, and we'll be closing the late Paypal Pledging for this wave on April 1st. If you want to add some extra miniatures, or if you are not a backer and want to get a set, now is the last chance until their retail release. Note, these are ready to ship now - all orders we receive before the 1st of April will ship during the first week of April.
The Corinth Warband deal contains: Warband Starter Set (12 Warriors, Herald, Musician, 2 Honor Guards, Bellerophon the King of Corinth) Archer Unit (12 Archers) Peltast Unit (12 Peltasts) Hero with Armor Rack Captain and Casualty Kickstarter exclusives: Bronze owl, Titan Hunter, Helen of Troy, and Oracle of Delphi. -that's 49 miniatures total, for $170, plus shipping.
We have a few additional Hoplite units also available at $40 each, if you want to add some, be sure to specify your shield preference (White Wings, Suitors of Aphrodite, or mercenaries with assorted shields).
Here's a link to the 'Paypal Pledging' page, complete details are available here:
Or, we can be contacted via email or Facebook, and we can send a Paypal invoice for anything you need.
As you may be aware over the past several months, a few people have been experiencing issues accessing the Crocodile Games online store and Kickstarter PayPal page from select Mac OS and browsers. You may also have experienced this elsewhere on the web.
We now have an explanation for this from our web hosting service and this is what they said: "Lion is too old and does not support TLS 1.1 or greater. You will need to upgrade to a newer operating system or use a third party client. Firefox should work on OS X if it is really the latest version, but it may be using the OS X SSL/TLS library. Your browsers will stop working on major ecommerce sites in the very near future when TLS1.0 is disabled on those sites."
Our Awesome Webmaster explained this to us in plain English, as it didn't make much sense - "Basically website encryption is being upgraded and the older OS's and Browsers don't have the necessary support for this newer encryption."
So if you are running into this issue, it’s probably time to upgrade to the latest version of your Operating System and/or Internet web browser.
So, we hope that this helps shine light on the mystery of the sporadic access.
Thanks for your support, Chris and D. Felicity Fitzpatrick
Croc Games is off to Historicon!
We've packed the truck with boxes and boxes of WarGods minis, the the house-sitter has arrived, and we're heading to Virginia.
We'll have a very small number of Amazons and Automaton miniature sets available for sale, leftovers from the Kickstarter fulfillment. We don't expect these to last long, so if you are attending the show and want to get some before their retail release next year, be sure to stop by the booth early!
Debs has just finished painting up the Trojan and Amazon warbands, and the Automaton minis as well - we'll have these on display in the case. Check out the photos for a few previews!
We hope to see you there!
It's been a while since our last update, we have been keeping very busy working on all of the new miniatures!
Here is the latest on our Kickstarter miniatures - as of now, the First 2 waves have shipped to backers -- the Demigods and the Trojans. We are currently preparing the molds for the next 2 waves, which will include the Spartans, Mycenaeans, Amazons & Automatons. PayPal Pledging is still open for factions that have not shipped, but Demigod and Trojan rewards are now closed.
In addition, pledging for the Spartans and Mycenaeans has also closed.
You can still pledge for the remaining citystates - Amazons, Athenians and Corinthians, as well as the Wargods of Olympus rulebook. Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
To see the sculpts as they progress, check out the sculpting thread on the Croc Forum:
If you were unable to back us on Kickstarter don't worry, there is still time. We have set up a PayPal pledging page and for a limited time you can jump on board as a new backer and still receive all of the Kickstarter exclusives.
You can find the PayPal page here - PayPal Pledging
So what's next?
Right now, we are hard at work on all of the fantastic miniatures and extras that we promised! Chris is busy sculpting away and I (Debs) am compiling all of the responses to the surveys, trying to answer questions in a timely fashion and pack croc orders! It will take a while to get of all this together, but we'll be posting progress updates along the way, and we appreciate your patience.
But you can still help! If you are a veteran WarGods player why not talk to your local gaming store or club about organizing a game or running a demo, be active on the forum posting pictures from your games and getting involved in the discussions.
If you are new to the game, come join our community! You will find lots of helpful information and resources on the forum, along with a new WarGods players google map. We will be adding new content as time goes on, so stay tuned!
Thanks again for your support!

We are into the final few hours of the WarGods of Olympus Kickstarter - the program will end at 5:05pm EST today.
The walls of the city of Troy are said to have been built by Poseidon, and invulnerable to the force of men.You call forth the limping son of Hephaestus from the rear of your army. He advances forward, accompanied by a towering colossus of bronze with the head of a bull. Three times the Automaton strikes the gates of Troy, and with the third blow the gates shatter. Your army surges forward into the city, and the battle wages throughout the day. By nightfall the defenders are either slain, fled, or captured, and the beautiful Helen is yours at last!
Both the Kickstarter Exclusive Helen of Troy miniature and the Hydra have been unlocked and we on our way to unlocking the Harpies! There is still time, so please keep spreading the word and if you haven't backed us yet, now is your chance!
Thanks for your support!

We are into the final 30 hours of the WarGods of Olympus Kickstarter and we just unlocked the Amazon Cavalry! Thank you to all of our backers for your support and for helping to spread the word, you all have made this possible!
Now that the Amazon Cavalry has been unlocked, here are the details... the release will have 3 packs - Mounted Horse Archers (5 miniatures for $40), Mounted Amazons with Spear and Shield (5 miniatures for $40) and Mounted Queen Penthesilea ($20). Kickstarter backers can get the whole set of 11 miniatures for $80, and save $20 off the retail price! We expect these miniatures to be ready in September, 2014 - you can add these to your pledge, and we can have them shipped when the are available (US backers for an additional $6, International varies depending on what country.)
The battle is still being waged for the city of Troy. As of this moment, we are only $8,500 away from unlocking Helen of Troy, and when that happens, her miniature will be included in ALL reward levels of $160 or more. Based on our progress over the last day, there is a great chance that this can happen - so long as we continue to get the word out. Please tell your friends, Facebook, and online gaming forums, and we can make this happen!
Last of all, we have another set of concepts to show off - the one-eyed giants known as the Cyclopes! These guys can be used in a warband lead by a Demigod of Hephaestus for a little extra muscle!
Thanks again for your support!

The Automatons have been unlocked! Thank you to all of our backers for helping to make this possible! We've now added the Clockwork Owl to ALL reward levels that include miniatures (basically, everything except Watcher and Warrior.) So, if you have miniatures coming, you'll also get this little guy:
You now also have the option of purchasing the rest of the Automatons as Add-Ons. You can get the whole set (Minotaur, Bull, Hoplite, Warhound, and Owl) for a special Kickstarter price of $42 - that's saving $10 on the set!
Our next stretch goal is at $100,000 - the Gates of Troy! This is the big battle we've been working toward... if we can unlock the Gates of Troy, we'll be adding a second wave of Trojans that can be purchased as Add-Ons, or grouped together for a special Kickstarter pre-order price. The new Trojan miniatures planned are: Trojan Chariot, Trojan War Altar & Guards, Trojan Seer and Temple Guards, Tragic Hero, and Price Hector and Paris! Check out the great concept art by John Wigley:
Above we have 'Man-Killing Hector' and his brother Paris - that womanizing rascal that started all the trouble!
And here's a peek at the new Trojan Specialists we have planned:
The god Apollo is the primary god of the city of Troy. He has gifted some of his priestesses with the ability to see the future, but there is a price... for her foresight, the priestess has lost the sight of her eyes. On the battlefield, she can make predictions that often come true. And she is protected by two temple guards (like the Honor Guards allowed to Demigods). The other Specialist is the Tragic Hero, a great warrior who is fated to die heroically in battle, and the knowledge of his certain doom instills him with a supernatural bravery!
That's all for this time - let's keep spreading the word, and thanks again for all of your support so far!

The WarGods Kickstarter is now live, and will be running throughout the month of June, ending Sunday June 30.
To view our project, please, click the link below:
Be sure to check back periodically over the course of the month, as we'll be adding new rewards and surprises as the project progresses. Fitz is hard at work on even more new miniatures, hopefully we'll be able to show them off soon!
A special thanks goes out to Mike Biel and Adam Majka for their hard work shooting and editing our Kickstarter video! Thanks guys, we couldn't have done it without you!
The Daughter of the goddess Athena has arrived, to lead us to victory! She wears shining bronze armor, and a shield that bears the terrifying image of a gorgon! The daughter of Athena is a master of strategy, an inspirational leader of men, and unmatched in her skill with sword and spear!
This miniature was sculpted by Chris FitzPatrick and based on concept art by Des Hanley. She is one of eight Demigods that will be available at the start of the Kickstarter program in the initial goal.
If you'd like to help get this miniature released, please help us spread the word about our upcoming Croc Kickstarter -- we're hoping to go live on Saturday (assuming Kickstarter approves of our project!)
