Exciting news! Especially as I have me some Trojans coming. Will you be sending the Hecate WIP and this info out on a KS update? A lot of backers (foolishly) won't be checking this thread.
We're doing another full update this Friday with the Kickstarter map, I won't be including the Hecate images, but we'll alert everyone that she's on the forum and send them here to check her out. I hope to have the last bits on her wrapped up by then!

Will this update tell us about expected ship dates? Are the Trojans and demi gods on tap for next month? Amazons still in October? what about the Kickstarter exclusives, will those be next year with the book or earlier? The tension of waiting is getting the best of me. But as you know from my posts over the last 10 years or so, I have little patience when it comes to waiting for new miniatures from the Croc!

Chris, do you have a time frame when the To-Tanem and Anubi Slingers were going to be released. I would like to divide my kickstarter goodies into 2-3 shipmnets to avoid customs.

They are done, I just need to get the last of them molded, and I don't plan to do that until after the first 2 batches of Kickstarter minis are finished (so between the Amazons and when we get the book out next summer).

Good news, however, I do have a question. Debs mentioned that the larger reward levels may be a bit delayed so the additional exclusives could be included. Since I have boat loads of both the Trojans and Amazons coming and paid for postage for both, can the Trojans be shipped as soon as they are ready and my exclusives sent in October with the Amazons? I realize that you have another 543 backers who all probably want your time and special favors and my request may get lost, but thought I would ask anyway. My frothing at the mouth in anticipation is beginning to concern my friends and family.

Alcibia I'm pretty sure that's how it's going to be done, a little bird told me start looking for minis at the end of September If nothing goes wrong with the molds and that's a scary IF

It's still a bit early for this, as soon as we have all the stuff in hand we can start sorting out shipments. But I'm still working on some of the sculptures, so please be patient, we have a while yet.

Just a quick update to let you guys know that things are progressing - I'm picking up the Demigod masters on Tuesday next week - I'll get pics posted of them as soon as we get back! Once these are in-hand, I'll clean them (remove any mold lines) and get them back to our moldmaker to be used for the production molds. It's a tight schedule we're on, with not a lot of room for errors, so let's keep our fingers crossed all the masters come out OK.

I also got an update from Todd today with pictures of the greek archers, and they are looking great! With any luck, these will be done next week as well, and I'll post pics when they arrive. It's going to be a long weekend of sculpting for me as well, Dionysus and Aeneas are starting to take shape. Stay tuned, we should have some great pictures for you over the next couple weeks!

Here's some big pics of Hecate finished!

A few changes have been made since the last version, mainly the addition of even MORE hair. At this point, she is finished, with the exception of a few bits that need to be done to simplify the casting of the miniature. Now let's all cross our fingers and hope that she makes it through the moldmaking process without any trouble!

Hecate sculpture

And here are some big pics of Todd's greek archers, ready for action! Todd is also working on a set of Captains for them as well, one for each city state (Sparta, Athens, Corinth, and Mycenae).

Archers

Hope you guys like them!

They look great! Hecate looks very nice, love the hair. Archers look good will be buying about 100 hundred as soon as you can pop them out of the mold Chris . As you know I have a 160 Spartans and want to field Xenophon's 10,000 will need 100 Corinthians 100 Athenians 100 Amazons( already bought) and 50 amazon calvery. So you have basically taken my entire hobby budget this year! One question will the amazon archers be unarmored as well

Looking good Jon

Usually I like to attach arrows and bowsstrings to archers, but the bow on the middle one looks a bit short?

I'm frantically trying to finish up a couple minis, and plan on posting an update with these as soon as they are done. Unfortunately, 'frantic' and 'fine detail sculpting' don't really get along well, so it is taking a bit longer to wrap these up. I hope to have these wrapped up soon, and a cool update to follow.

Thanks Chris, I know you are being frantic and really like what I am seeing, but since I have nagged you and Debs about new miniatures for the last 10 years or so, I felt it was necessary for you to know I was still out here, I did not want you two to think anything had happened to me! :)

And here we have the latest green - Dionysus, the god of wine!

He's 95% done, I just a few small details to add (a splash of wine in his cup, some detail on his medallion, and a club hanging at his belt.)

Enjoy!

For the update this week, can we get some more details about expected completion dates? I know this is a complicated process, and this is a huge project for you and we all want to make sure we have the quality we expect from Croc, but September was targeted as the projected release of several factions: Trojans, Demi-Gods, Spartan swordsmen, Mycenaean peltasts, and the Greek archers (we have seen those pics). Are any of these going to be ready to ship soon?

We are working to get all these done. Please keep in mind, we also added Dionysus, Bronze Owl, Oracle of Delphi, and Helen of Troy -- all of which need to be finished before we can fulfill any of the $160+ rewards. Because of these extra sculpts, we're running a few weeks behind on the first wave of fulfillment, though I'm doing my best to catch up. Please bear with me, hopefully the extra minis will make it all worth it!

Expect the Demigods-only rewards to be shipping first (all of those sculptures are completed, and heading to production) and the Trojans will come next (when Aeneas, the Oracle and Helen are finished, which I'm working on now).

Trojan Casualty aka "drunk off his centaur"

I am getting entirely distracted. I was not primarily excited by Hephaestus and then came the mini... All the little iconic details and the physical character of the mini made me want to have an Hephaestus warband, especially with the addition of the automatons. Now, I am lit with anticipation about Dionysus too. WELL DONE! The tiny detail make such a difference. He looks sweaty and heavy handed, carousing with highly authentic kylix of wine in hand. Can't wait!

Here's the latest, Aeneas, prince of Troy.

He's still got a couple details to add (a sword on his belt, and some tassles hanging from his spear) - but there is enough here to show off!

Fitz, just to make sure...is the shield going to be molded onto Aeneas? Or will it be separate? Not sure if you were adding it for the total effect while you were working...or even how that whole process would go, actually. i guess you have to fit the shields at some time or another no matter if they are separate or not, right?

Thanks!

Aeneas' shield is a separate piece. So, you could give him a different one if you wanted, etc.

I generally make all the shields separate pieces, unless the model's pose/constriction demands that the arm is included.
