Here is my first attempt at a Trojan spearman. He arrived as an unexpected and most welcome promotional escort with my To-tanem last week. Funny how the cruelty of digital pics shows you things you didn't know you'd screwed up - so there are a couple things I need to fix! Didn't range to far afield with the color scheme...I already liked what the Croc crew had come up with color-wise, and why mess with perfection?

As one would expect, a superb mini, sculpted by the best, and a delight to paint. Cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the warband in September!

Edit: Ok, tried to post them here, but for some reason, I can't see them. Must not be doing something right. Here's the link, hopefully that will work.

Good job. Those Trojans are fun to paint. And I completely agree on the digital camera thing, I stopped working on my Trojan Spearman for a while for that same reason.

Nicely done! Yes, digital photography is a cruel mistress - seeing the figure 6 times larger than you can with the naked eye, there are always going to be some bits we miss! That all being said, he's a darn fine paintjob!

Thanks! Looking forward to working on more of the Trojans. Until their arrival, will be working on Spartans, Wendigo, and various Aegpytus figs, which I'll try to post as I go along.
