Crocodile Games is an association of creative individuals, dedicated to promoting excellence in the miniature gaming hobby. To this end, we are developing our own fantasy world, based on classic themes of mythology and ancient cultures. This world is known as the "Antediluvian Age", and it is the setting for our War Gods... series of games. War Gods of Ægyptus was the first game in the series, and was released in 2001, to critical acclaim. The next game in the series is War Gods of Olympus, a mythological battle game based on the heroic age of Greek mythology. War Gods of Olympus is planned for release in the fall of 2006. War Gods is the game that we always wanted play, and it is our pleasure to share our creation with the rest of the world!

The Croc Team

Chris FitzPatrick
Chris FitzPatrick, commonly known as "Fitz" to friends, sculpted his first miniature about 10 years ago. Since then, he has worked for many prominant miniature companies in the American gaming industry, including Ral Partha, Global Games, and AEG. In 1997 he jumped ship and sailed to England, where he worked as a Miniature Designer for Games Workshop Design Studio. There he contributed to the Dark Eldar miniature range for Warhammer 40,000 and designed the Dark Elf Army for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Fitz is now back in the United States, where the sun occasionally shines and things aren't nearly so Dark... Fitz's creative energies are currently focused on developing the ever-expanding world of "War Gods", and occasionally, even sculpting a miniature or two -- when he's lucky! Fitz can also be seen playing the part of "Michael" in the Zombie Horror-Comedy movie Dead at the Box Office.

Des Hanley
In real life, Des sits high atop his tower and gazes at the outside world and wonders: ‘what’s the real world like?’ After escaping from a small cubicle in the Games Workshop Design Studio, Des found himself wandering in an open desert. Within, he found some lost ruins… later revealed to him as the lost land of Ægyptus. But seriously, after 4 years as an in-house illustrator for GW, Des felt like a change of view... since then he has worked as a Conceptual Artist for The Lord of the Rings miniature range by Harlequin (now Black Tree Designs,) and provided numerous illustrations for FASA’s Vor, the Maelstrom game. Des still does the occasional piece for Games Workshop’s Black Library, with his pieces featured frequently in the pages of Wahammer Inferno! So where has Des been lately? Rumor has it that he is currently off exploring the other realms of the Antediluvian Age… taking notes on the costume and culture of the lost realm of Olympus – soon to be revealed by Crocodile Games!

Todd S. Harris
Todd S. Harris started sculpting three years ago, working in the evenings and weekends on historical 28mm miniatures. He began working full-time in July of 2001, sculpting figures for Reaper, WizKids, and Crocodile Games. Todd, who has had some formal art training, has been drawing, painting, model-building, wargaming, painting figures all his life, and feels that he has finally found a career that suits him. Sure enough, Todd is proving to be one of the rising stars of the miniature industry. Todd lives in west central Ohio and has three children.

Ben "Hollywood" Siens
Somewhere on the sunny beaches of southern California is Ben Siens -- wearing Bermuda shorts and sipping exotic cocktails (you know, the kind with the little umbrella in the glass.) World renown for sculpting on the beach while wearing sunglasses, Ben designed his first miniature in November of 1999, and much to his surprise (but not ours!) has been designing them ever since. He cites playing with clay during his formative years as the basis of his formal training. Besides his excellent work for Crocodile Games, Ben has worked for such other companies as Reaper, Pegasus, and Wizards of the Coast. When asked about his goals, Ben says: "I hope that one day my skill catches up to my imagination, at which point you can all acknowledge me as the master of all things small . . . or not!"

Viona Senke
This weird and mysterious girl was born and raised in South Africa, sporting lions as pets and riding elephants to school. ... hehehe, kidding. She spends her time tinkering away on her computer, painting miniatures (when she's not on her computer), playing all sorts of games (when she's not on her computer) and reading (when she's not.. you get the picture). In any event, she happened across Crocodile Games via a very good friend of hers and has been stuck in ever since, drooling over miniatures (when she's not ... yeah yeah) and keeping the site up and running. Webguru by choice. :)

Marike Reimer
Marike paints stuff, and she paints it well. Rising from the depths of Seattle, Marike joined the Croc in 2004 as Staff Painter and Official Voice of Reason. She has been painting miniatures professionally for only a few years, which makes the rest of us want to cry into our paint buckets. She's fond of cats, bugs, and chocolate; this is a good thing, as that's how we pay her.

Cathy Hamaker
Cathy has been lurking around the game industry since 1987, and has known Fitz since he was but a wee sculpting lad. As a player, a painter, and a retail chain manager, she has been working tirelessly for the betterment of the hobby miniatures world since the age of 17. (She's now getting "old" [as she says], and it's an uphill battle.) Cathy joined Team Croc in late 2004 when Fitz took pity on her jobless state and offered her the position of Customer Service Rep, Sales Manager, and Official Defender of Pastries. Cathy served as Sales Director for Croc until 2007, when she stepped down in order to bring fear to thousands of children each year in her new position as a museum exhibit developer. Even though she's no longer a regular employee, she is always ready to pitch in and help the Croc as needed with new releases and manning the booth at cons!
